Special & Ongoing PTA Projects
Capri Sun Pouch Recycle Program: Our school receives a 2 cents return on all capri sun pouches returned to school for recycling. We would love for you to participate in this ongoing project. Please cut the top of the pouch, rinse the pouch and return pouches to school on Wednesdays. If your child brings capri sun to school for lunch, kindly ask your child to save their pouch rather than throwing it away. Mom can then rinse the pouch out at the end of the day and send it in for recycling on Wednesday. Thankyou for your participation. Not only is this something you can do for your child's school, but, you're a affecting the environment in a positive way, the green way! (a green recycle symbol graphic, maybe?)
Newspaper Recycling Program: For your convenience, our school DC Reeves has a newspaper recycling bin on school grounds. For every newspaper you recycle at our school, we are raising money for our school's needs. Please join us in recycling your newspaper! (newspaper graphic, just a thought, u dont have to)
Community Labels & Box Tops: Volunteers Needed
Winn Dixie Rewards: Please remember to use the barcode provided at the beginning of the school year when shopping at winn dixie. With every purchase you make, the school recieves a portion of the sale. This is a very simple way to help your school. If you need a barcode, please contact the office. Thanks for your support.
Spirit Wear Sales: Information Coming Soon!
Smencils (Scented Pencils): Coming in October! They are $1.00 each and PTA receives 50% profit. Smencils will be sold in front of the library, before school, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's of every month and in December all three weeks we are in school. If you would like to volunteer from 7:45am-8:30am, please contact Teresa Landry.
